a few words about us

McMahon O'Brien Tynan Solicitors is the marriage of two existing firms in Limerick being Michael Tynan & Co. William Street, Limerick and McMahon O'Brien Solicitors. Henry Street, Limerick. The amalgamation of the two practices has brought together an old long established firm of Michael Tynan & Co. together with a young vibrant firm McMahon O'Brien Solicitors.

We believe that the joining together of the two practices will widen and enrich the services available to all clients both existing and new and we feel that our amalgamation is an exciting move forward for all concerned.

Our client base is wide and varied from the individual to the large multi-national. Each and every client will receive the utmost attention and assistance. Our approach demands the highest levels of knowledge, technical skill and service delivery allowing us to provide accurate reliable timely and cost effective advice across a range of sectors.

Our firm is extremely strong on advice in the area of:

  • General Litigation
  • Personal Injuries Litigation
  • Commercial Disputes
  • Estate Planning and Management

In recent times because of the financial crisis we have developed a strong team providing advice to Debtors both individuals and businesses small and large. This involves examining the Debtors situation and advising on the best way forward to protect the Debtor's assets, to negotiate with financial institutions, to represent Debtors in Court and ultimately to reach the best possible conclusion on behalf of our clients in the difficult situation in which they find themselves.
